In the Life Media wins GLAAD media award for film on transgender discrimination study

The challenges faced by transgender people continue to receive attention. We congratulate In the Life Media for winning a GLAAD media award for Outstanding Digital Journalism-Multimedia for their web short: Injustice at Every Turn. 6833KANJ5JM7 The short film highlights our groundbreaking study, Injustice at Every Turn: A Report of the National Transgender Discrimination Survey, which was done in partnership with the National Center for Transgender Equality. The findings of our study are presented within the context of the personal stories of Ja’briel and Michelle. We give thanks to In the Life Media for spotlighting these stories, and to GLAAD for recognizing the importance of sharing the stories of transgender people.
