Take action in Baltimore County!
The Baltimore County Council is voting tonight on a bill that, if passed without any changes or amendments, will protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from discrimination in housing, employment and public accommodations. The bill is especially needed because transgender people face discrimination every day, and they are not yet protected by statewide or federal law. Please call the Baltimore County Council general number (410-887-3196) or your councilmember if you live in Baltimore County and ask them to support this bill. You can look up your councilmember’s number here: http://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/countycouncil
Please call before 6:00pm because the vote will take place tonight, Tuesday February 21st at 6:00pm in the Baltimore County Council chamber on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, 400 Washington Avenue, Towson, MD 21204. Please call ASAP and also come in person to show your support this evening if you are able.

This bill is needed to protect people who reside, work or travel in Baltimore County. Please vote to pass Bill 3-12 without any changes or amendments that could weaken the important protections it offers. Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who has already made calls. Please call one more time to ensure the passage of this bill without any changes or amendments that would weaken it.
