People of faith are calling for ENDA

Today, members of faith communities across the country are joining together to make calls to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). Currently, in most states, there is no law prohibiting an employer from firing or refusing to hire someone simply because they are, or are perceived to be LGBT.

The Interfaith Call-In Day today shows the broad support for ENDA among people of faith, and is part of a broad coalition of progressive organizations supporting workplace opportunity.

Nearly eight in ten Americans from all walks of life support workplace protections for LGBT people.
