Staff Bio: Court Betro

Court (she/they) is the Field Organizer for Creating Change 365.

Court is excited to organize Creating Change 365, a series of year-round virtual engagements presented by the Task Force to build community, organize, and mobilize LGBTQ+ folks. Her goal is to make the Task Force’s critical work around building the knowledge, skills, and power of the LGBTQ+ movement more accessible to everyone.

Court loves living and working in Washington, D.C. When she’s not working, you can find her exploring all the incredible restaurants the District offers or relaxing at home with her partner and their cat. Court is passionate about advocating for LGBTQ+ folks within the D.C. community and beyond through activism emphasizing shared humanity, reciprocity, and community-driven care that highlights the redistribution of resources to those who need them most.
