One Nation Working Together rally is today!
Today’s the day! Tens of thousands of people from all across the country are marching and rallying in Washington, D.C. , as part of One Nation Working Together. LGBTQ groups are among the progressive allies who are in the nation’s capital to demand secure jobs, justice and quality education.
The National Black Justice Coalition, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, National Stonewall Democrats and Pride At Work are the co-conveners of the “LGBTQ Table” for One Nation Working Together. Why is One Nation Working Together important to LGBTQ people and so many others? Find out here.

March with us! Meet up with the Task Force and other LGBTQ groups at Freedom Plaza, southwest corner of Pennsylvania Ave. NW & 13th St. NW, at 10 a.m.
Also today, the Whitman-Walker Clinic in Washington, D.C., is hosting its 24th annual AIDS Walk Washington, which takes place Saturday morning prior to the One Nation Working Together rally. Event information is here: www.aidswalkwashington.org. Whitman-Walker Clinic is proud to be a partner organization of One Nation Working Together. LGBTQ organizations and activists are invited to gather at Freedom Plaza at 10 a.m. to share in the closing ceremonies of the AIDS Walk and then march as a delegation to the One Nation Working Together rally.
Hundreds of endorsers: To date, more than 400 groups have endorsed One Nation Working Together, including many LGBTQ organizations. Today’s rally is not only about mobilizing for this one day — it is also about building lasting, stronger coalition partnerships to continue our work toward full equality and justice. We hope you will march with us!
