Major Gifts Associate

The National LGBTQ Task Force seeks a passionate and dedicated Major Gifts Associate to work on impactful fundraising and resource mobilization with our Leadership Council donors. We are prioritizing candidates with a proven track record of successfully securing major donor gifts and fundraising but are open to less seasoned fundraisers as well.

The Task Force development department is growing. We currently have six positions in the areas of institutional/corporate giving and sponsorships, major donor fundraising, and several high impact fundraising events. Our ideal candidate is hands-on and sweats the details, is a team player and works well with others, takes a principled approach to raising money for LGBTQ+ justice, and has a “can do” attitude in problem solving and helping out team members across the organization.

The National LGBTQ Task Force builds the power of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community from the ground up. We are the country’s premier social justice organization fighting to improve the lives of LGBTQ people, and working to create positive, lasting change and opportunity for all.

The Task Force is an organization that values both self-care and community care and embodies those values through our benefits package and a competitive salary. We are proud to be a Care First organization that offers excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, FSA, annual and sick leave, and 403(b) plan. This position will be part of our collective bargaining unit.
