Staff Bio: Sue Hyde
For over two decades, Sue’s inspired and nurtured organizers and led community members to participate in democracy with the goal of securing freedom, justice and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex people and their families. Sue’s been directing the annual Creating Change Conference since its humble beginnings in the late 80s to the its position now of being the largest annual gathering of activists, organizers and leaders in the LGBTQ movement. Sue’s also an accomplished public speaker, teacher and writer who has an inexhaustible faith in our movement and its people. Sue lives in Cambridge, Mass., with her partner and their two children.
