Events Director

Michael Bath, Events Director, has been with the Task Force since the organization opened its office in Miami in 2004 and began producing the Miami Recognition Dinner and Winter Party Festival. In 2009 he became the staff lead for both of those events. Prior to joining the Task Force, Michael spent more than 14 years in the marketing and communications field, first with the music licensing company BMI and then with a New York-based international law firm. In 2003 he became director of events for the now-defunct GaySouthFlorida. Throughout the 1990s, Bath was a volunteer member of Heritage of Pride (HOP), the organization that produces New York's LGBT Pride celebration. He was HOP's media director from 1994 to 1996 and produced the 1997 and 1998 New York City Pride rallies.
