Have today’s Bi Pride Day blog posts piqued your interest to find out more about bisexuality? Or are you bisexual and are you seeking more ways to engage with the community? Here are some online resources for you to find out more about the bisexual community, its organizations, and the various issues which concern the community.

Bisexual Organizations

Bisexual Resource Center (BRC): The oldest U.S. national bisexual organization that publishes resources such as Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around the World for the bisexual community and raises awareness about bisexuality in the LGBT and straight communities. The BRC envisions a world where love is celebrated, regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression.

BiNet USA: This national bisexual advocacy organization facilitates the development of a cohesive network of independent bisexual and bi-friendly communities; promotes bisexual, pansexual and bi-inclusive visibility; and collects and distributes educational information regarding sexual orientation and gender identity with an emphasis on the bisexual and pansexual and allied communities.

Bisexual Organizing Project (BOP): Based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, this organization produces the annual BECAUSE conference, and provides a strong bisexual presence throughout the Midwest. BOP advocates for equal acknowledgement and recognition of bisexual identities and communities and creates a safe community for bisexuals and our allies within and outside of LGBTA spaces.

Bisexual.org: A freshly designed website where you can connect to three awesome resources:

  • The American Institute of Bisexuality encourages, supports and assists research and education about bisexuality, through programs likely to make a material difference and enhance public knowledge, awareness and understanding about bisexuality.
  • Bi Magazine: Want to find out what bisexuals are talking about in art, music, movies, and politics? So does Bi Magazine.
  • The Journal of Bisexuality: a quarterly academic journal that publishes research, personal essays, book and film reviews upon bisexual themes.
