Experience Your Own Personal Evolution at Winter Party Festival

Join Us for Winter Party Festival March 4 - March 10, 2020

Winter Party Festival, produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force, is one of the world’s largest and best-loved celebrations for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. It returns to Miami in 2020 with the theme: Evolve. The Festival makes a statement of inclusion as one of the leading and most unique LGBTQ+ dance party week fundraisers in North America. It’s a Miami Beach destination experience that brings people together to love, dance, and be their authentic selves.

The Festival has evolved into a week-long series of events benefiting the LGBTQ+ community locally and nationally. Much of the gross proceeds from Winter Party Festival support the National LGBTQ Task Force’s efforts to take action, build power, and create change for LGBTQ+ people. A significant amount of the remaining proceeds are also donated to local service organizations through a grant-making process administered by the Miami Foundation. In 2019, the Task Force donated $206,000 for over $3.1 million since 2005.

“The Winter Party Festival 2020 theme is ‘Evolve,’ and that is about being your true self,” said Festival Co-Chair Rene Wolfensberger. “The Festival creates a space where everyone can explore themselves and be you. It’s a wonderful LGBTQ event that celebrates our community and gives back to local and national efforts.” This year’s Evolve campaign and its neon butterfly not only symbolize the strength and evolution of all corners of our beautiful LGBTQ+ community but also represents the personal evolution that our guests can experience when they journey through the adventure, love, and magic shared during the week-long festival.

The roster of international DJ talent and Miami’s unparalleled venues provide the kind of events that could never happen anywhere else in the world. DJ talent already booked includes Billboard hit artists DJ GRIND (United States), DJ Toy Armada (Philippines), and DJ Abel Aguilera (United States). We’re also joined this year by RuPaul’s Drag Race Alum DJ Nina Flowers (Puerto Rico) and the debuts of international superstar DJs Mauro Mozart (Brazil) and JERAC (Colombia). The new host hotel is the Royal Palm on South Beach, with competitive rates starting at just $299/night. Winter Party continues transforming by bringing Friday night’s HEAT and Monday morning’s AFTERGLOW to an all-new location, Wynwood Factory, presented by Hilton Wolman Events. The expansive Wynwood Factory includes four event spaces and a 20,000-square-foot Terrace overlooking Miami, making it the perfect leap forward for next year’s Festival! ACTION! FINALE will be the exclamation point to Winter Party for the fifth consecutive year on Monday night, March 9th, at its new home: Exchange Miami!

“Our focus this year is demonstrating how we grow and change as a diverse LGBTQ community,” added Festival Co-Chair Sergio Orlando. “As the Festival grows larger each year, it’s our shared values of inclusivity while having a blast, that make the Winter Party Festival a global event. We continue our mission to Live Free, Play Hard, and Give Back to all corners of our LGBTQ+ family.”
