Join the Gala Committee
The National LGBTQ Task Force Gala is the premier annual celebration of South Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. The Gala is an evening to honor heroes of the movement and celebrate recent advancements towards equality.
The Task Force is a volunteer-driven organization, the Gala is planned and produced by a dedicated team of volunteers. The Gala Committee meets throughout the year and uses their skills to promote and produce the event.
Committee teams include Fundraising, Marketing, Auction, Journal, Volunteer Relations, Production, and Associated Events. Meetings occur an average of every 2-3 weeks, April–July, and every 1-2 weeks from August–October.
