Q: Is the Be You Ball different from the Gala?
A: The Be You Ball is this year’s theme of the Task Force Gala. It is an exciting celebration of the history of ballroom culture — think voguing on the runway. The event includes all the features you know and love — a cocktail reception, plated dinner, and an after-party—with a program designed to maximize celebration and connection.
Q: Why is it in Hollywood, I thought it is usually in Miami Beach?
A: Miami Beach has been the home of the Task Force Gala, now the Be You Ball, for many years, but this has always been an event for all of South Florida. We decided to mix it up a bit and try out a new location that is accessible for supporters from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. We look forward to hosting at locations in Broward and Miami-Dade in future years.

A: We’re keeping the formal program shorter so there’s more time to mingle, dance, and enjoy the community.

A: The Task Force Gala: Be You Ball will honor ballroom culture, featuring electrifying performances from some of the most talented houses.
