The 22nd National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change wowed Dallas with big thinking and large living, Feb. 3 -7 2010. Everything is big in Dallas, most especially Creating Change! We gathered with over 2400 friends and colleagues, making Creating Change 2010 our largest conference since 1999 in Oakland California. Over 500 Texans also joined our Creating Change family and whooped it up with friends from all over the U.S.

Enthusiastic lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights advocates attended and learned in over 220 workshops, Day Long Institutes, Academy for Leadership and Action trainings, film screenings, and caucuses. At Creating Change 2010, the Task Force expanded language accessibility and language justice by adding English/Spanish translation at plenary sessions and in workshop sessions.

We thank and honor our wonderful Dallas-Ft. Worth Host Committee for working in partnership with the Task Force to present our most successful national conference to date. Special thanks also go out to the Anita May Rosenstein Foundation, the founding sponsor of The National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change and to our corporate, foundation, organizational and individual donors.

The Task Force Communications Team secured substantial media coverage in the mainstream/LGBT press and blogosphere, launched a Creating Change blog enjoyed by many, and Facebooked, Twittered and Flickr’ed to the delight of thousands of Creating Change fans and friends.
