URGENT: Act now to keep LGBT protections in VAWA

Congress could pass an LGBT inclusive Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) this week! But we can’t guarantee that the U.S. House of Representatives will pass the bipartisan inclusive bill unless you take action. Click here to tell your representative to vote FOR the Senate version of VAWA (S. 47) and against the watered down House version.

The House version of the bill excludes protections for LGBT, tribal, immigrant and campus victims. The House is scheduled to vote tomorrow, and we need to make sure they pass the fully inclusive bipartisan Senate version of the bill. Your representative needs to hear from you!

In the next two days, Congress must hear loudly and clearly that they need to pass the bipartisan Senate version of VAWA! Your work has gotten us this far – now it’s time to bring this bill across finish line!
