‘The Big Commit’ is this Sunday in D.C.!



LGBT rights supporters will be converging on Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., this Sunday, Aug. 15, 2-4 p.m., for The Big Commit, which is happening as the National Organization for Marriage {NOM} wraps up its “One Woman, One Man” Summer for Marriage Tour.

Join the Courage Campaign, Freedom to Marry, Fully Equality Now! DC, Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance, GetEQUAL and others for this peaceful rally with visible community support for marriage equality that includes ALL families.

From Freedom to Marry:

The event will be in three parts: a rally with speakers that represent a diverse picture of marriage supporters in Washington, D.C.; “Exchanging Vows with Equality,” recommitting our community to unify in the fight against injustice and inequality, especially as it pertains to marriage equality; followed by an ice cream social. followed by an ice cream social.
