2024 Gala

The 2024 National LGBTQ Task Force Gala, presented by St. John’s on the Lake United Methodist Church, will celebrate the National LGBTQ Task Force’s 50+ years leading the fight for LGBTQ liberation in the United States.

We return to the dazzling Grand Ballroom of the Miami Beach Convention Center on Saturday, October 19, beginning at 6:00 pm, for an evening that features a cocktail reception, a sprawling and spectacular silent auction, a sit-down dinner, an awards ceremony, and the AfterGlow Ball, with a DJ and dancing.

Jai Rodriguez

Rodriguez is a Broadway veteran, comedian, and LGBTQ advocate who will entertain attendees as the evening’s new emcee. Best known for his role in the Emmy Award-winning series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Rodriguez has had a transformative impact on entertainment and LGBTQ representation for nearly two decades. His dynamic career spans television, film, and stage, including starring roles on Broadway and in hit TV shows like Malibu Country and The Rookie.

Frenchie Davis

Known for her powerful voice, Frenchie has dazzled on American Idol and The Voice and lit up Broadway in RENT and Ain’t Misbehavin’, earning a Grammy nomination. Her performance will be a highlight of the evening.

Ginger Minj

The fabulous drag performer from RuPaul’s Drag Race and Hocus Pocus 2 will bring her iconic style and charisma to the stage, ensuring a night of high-energy entertainment.
