Staff Bio: Dee Tum-Monge

Dee Tum-Monge is a Latinx, non-binary, creative. Dee has over 4 years of experience with branding, strategizing, and designing for national non-profits, local community-based organizations, and artists in D.C.
As a digital organizer, Dee works to advance equity and build political power by growing online communities that center QTBIPOC voices. Dee has a B.A. in Government, Economics, and Digital Art from Georgetown University. They are currently a Communications and Art Specialist at the Hispanic Communications Network and Creative Lead for Plantita Power. They have also recently worked with the Latinx COVID-19 Task Force and the Latinx History Project as a content creator for their COVID-19 vaccine education campaigns.
Dee believes everyone has something to contribute towards the racial and gender liberation of all. They are excited to join the National LGBTQ Task Force as the Senior Communications Manager and to continue working together to create a world where everyone can exist and thrive as they are. In their time off, you can catch Dee outside tending to their garden or walking around with a camera.
