See you in sunny California!

The Task Force’s California Power Summit kicks off this week and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it!

While we always look forward to doing the training of grassroots leaders that is such an intrinsic part of our mission, this week’s California Power Summit is particularly exciting because it will be our first fully bilingual weekend training.

Attendees will get hands-on training in skills like volunteer recruitment, canvassing, fundraising and building a diverse movement. They will also have the opportunity to take those skills and try them out for real as we pound the pavement on Saturday to talk to voters about marriage equality and raise some real money Sunday morning.

I’m heading to L.A. along with everyone else to keep the blog updated as the Power Summit happens. I’ll be posting photos, video and more throughout the weekend.
