Michigan Power Summit, day one

Day one of the Power Summit in Flint, Mich. has already connected organizers from around the state to build strong campaigns in local communities. Participants engaged in interactive exercises to gain a better understanding of ballot measure and legislative campaign strategies.

The mayor of Flint, Mich. stopped by to welcome the summit to Flint and also to explain his support for the grassroots power being built this weekend. Participants will be canvassing in neighborhoods across the city on Saturday, including the mayor’s own ward.
