Injustice at Every Turn: A Report of the National Transgender Discrimination Survey, A Look at Latino/Latina Respondents

The National Transgender Discrimination Survey [NTDS] measured transgender people’s experiences of discrimination. The survey results showed that transgender people faced bias that affects all areas of life. However, one of the most important findings was that the combination of anti-transgender with structural and individual racism meant that transgender people of color experience particularly devastating levels of discrimination. Therefore, this document, Injustice at Every Turn: A Look at Latino/a Respondents in the National Transgender Discrimination Survey, produced in collaboration with the League of United Latin American Citizens and the National Center for Transgender Equality, is the second of a series of reports designed to specifically shine a light on the experiences of transgender people of color.
