Happy Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month

JR Russ (he/him/his) here, Communications Manager and member of the Asian Pacific Islander (API) Caucus on staff. Here I am below with Sarah Massey, our Communications Director, at my Winter Party Festival just this past January.

As you may have seen on our social media or if you’re subscribed to our email list, we are celebrating “All of Me. All the Time.” this month by highlighting the names and stories of individuals who Asian Pacific Islander AND LGBTQ.

We kicked it off on Wednesday with Stephen Seo.

30 years old and living in Los Angeles, Stephen is a Task Force board member who is also the Director of Marketing for Atlantis Events. We asked Stephen what he may be best known for. His response: “Wearing a skirt and heels to the Beach Party” at Winter Party Festival. Yaaas, queen!!

Thursday, we gave a shout-out to Geena Rocero.

And today, we posted a photo of our own Victoria Kim!

For our Task Force family in Washington, DC, we invite you to join us on Thursday, May 30, 2019 for Heritage and Pride: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ API Communities.
