Going door-to-door at the Power Summit
Power Summit participants canvassed neighborhoods in Flint, Mich., this afternoon, talking to registered voters about a law to protect lgbt people from discrimination in the areas of housing and employment. In less than two hours, the canvassers knocked on 1,626 doors, had conversations with 538 people, and identified 450 supporters. All told, 83.6 percent of the people summit canvassers spoke with were in support of a non-discrimination ordinance!
