Election 2012: How are you voting?

We’re not asking who you’re voting for. We want to know how you plan to vote. That’s right – everyone needs a plan for how they’re going to cast their ballot.

When will you vote? Will you take advantage of absentee or early voting? Or will you vote in person on Election Day? Will you go before work or during the day? If you’re going after work, make sure you know when the polls close.

If you plan to vote early or absentee, you might have time to volunteer on election day. You can volunteer on one of the four marriage equality campaigns or you can volunteer as a poll monitor to guard against voter suppression and make sure everyone has the same opportunity you had to make their voice heard.

If you have trouble voting or witness voter suppression, call 1-866-Our-Vote and the Election Protection Coalition will provide comprehensive voter information and advice on how to make sure your vote is counted.

Now that you have a plan for how you’re going to vote, we’d like you to take a minute to read our voter guide for this election to make sure you know about all the important issues that are at stake this year.
