Don’t destroy the American dream

At noon today the Task Force joined MoveOn and many other progressive organizations for the “Don’t Destroy the American Dream” rally. The message from the rally was clear: stop using benefits as a bargaining chip in the debt debate. The debt limit should be raised now without conditions and our economy should not be held hostage during these negotiations.

You can stand with the Task Force by calling your senators at 1.866.584.1021 and asking them to make clear that they will not vote for a deal that cuts Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid benefits.
