Is there a discounted conference rate available at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans?

Yes! Rooms are selling out! Reserve your room today at the discounted nightly rate of $164. You can make reservations at the conference rate until December 21!

How much does it cost to register for Creating Change 2022?

There are several available rates. Descriptions are included on the registration check-out page:

  • Creating Change Advocate: $350
  • General Online Registration: $575
  • Sponsorship: $1,500
  • Limited Income: $175


Is there a deadline to register?

Yes! The last day to register is Sunday, January 9.

Can I register at the hotel in New Orleans? Is childcare provided?

No. This year, due to Covid-19 public health policies, Creating Change will not provide on-site registration or childcare.

Can I transfer my conference registration to someone else? Is my registration refundable?

Same as every year, registration for Creating Change 2022 is non-transferable and non-refundable. If you need to cancel your registration or that of someone else at any time, any registration fees will be considered a donation to the ongoing work of Creating Change and the National LGBTQ Task Force.

I am interested in having an exhibit table at Creating Change. How can I sign up?

Awesome! Being an exhibitor at Creating Change is an excellent way to meet 1,000+ participants and share your good works and products. Reserve your exhibit space today! (Rates and descriptions are included on the reservation form.)

I am an exhibitor. Does my general exhibit table include registration for the conference?

No. If you are an exhibitor at Creating Change and would also like to participate in the conference, you must register separately.

How can I register a group for Creating Change 2022? Is there a group discount?

Group registration is easy! Simply register yourself, and then on the checkout page you will have the option to add as many tickets as you need. Make sure you include names and email addresses for your added ticketholders, that way each person will receive their own, individual tickets!

If you are registering a group but NOT attending yourself, please contact Creating Change for instructions.

There is currently no discount for group registration.

Are meals included with my conference registration?

No, meals are not included with registration. However, anyone who needs support can request meal assistance when registering. The Creating Change meal assistance program includes four (4) meals: lunch and dinner on both Friday and Saturday, Jan. 14-15.

How can I request a scholarship for Creating Change 2022?

This year, requests for financial assistance are evaluated on an individual basis. Please contact Creating Change with any further questions.

I am presenting an institute, caucus, and/or workshop at Creating Change. What can I expect to be provided in my meeting room?

Each meeting room at the Hilton Riverside will be equipped with an easel pad, markers and an LCD projector and screen. If you will be using a Mac laptop, please bring the connecting cable to connect to the LCD projector. If you are using hard copy handouts, please prepare at least 50 copies (each) of your materials. Creating Change cannot make copies of any session materials.

Laptop computers are NOT provided.
