Cecilia Muñoz tapped to become Domestic Policy Council director
The Task Force applauds the appointment of Cecilia Muñoz as director of the Domestic Policy Council. The White House made the announcement this week. She will coordinate the policy-making process and supervise the execution of domestic policy in the White House. Read more here.
Muñoz currently serves as deputy assistant to the president and director of Intergovernmental Affairs, where she oversees the Obama administrationâs relationship with state and local governments. She also leads the administrationâs efforts to fix the broken immigration system.

Cecilia has long worked on behalf of many of our country’s most marginalized people.
