Breaking: US Supreme Court Takes Up Marriage Equality Cases, Sets Stage for Possible Historic Win

WASHINGTON, DC, January 16, 2015 — The United States Supreme Court has announced that they will be taking up cases challenging lower court decisions on marriage equality. In response, the National LGBTQ Task Force has release the following statement:

“The justices have an opportunity to bring marriage equality to the entire nation — and to end the pain of millions of same-sex couples who are currently denied the right to get married in the state they call home. This truly is history in the making — the question is: will the justices decide to be on the right side of history?” said Rea Carey, Executive Director, National LGBTQ Task Force.
