Believe Out Loud Power Summit, Oct 9-11, Orlando, Fla.
Our faith communities are one of our greatest resources for work on justice — especially on behalf of LGBT people. However, religion is also often cited and used by opponents of LGBT rights, from ordination and church membership to marriage equality for same-sex couples and nondiscrimination protections for LGBT people.
The Believe Out Loud Power Summit, to be held in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 9-11, is a unique and important opportunity for pro-justice Christians to learn how to organize and strategize against such attacks, advance justice and equality, and promote the fundamental humanity of LGBT people — both in their churches and in the larger society.
