This Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee is slated to debate the Respect for Marriage Act, which would repeal the so-called “Defense of Marriage Act” (DOMA). After the debate, the committee is poised to vote on the bill. Your senators need to hear from you!

Share your stories about being denied important federal benefits, whether it’s not being able to receive Social Security benefits or be sponsored for immigration or take time off to care for a sick spouse.

A majority of Americans believe legally married couples should not be singled out and denied fundamental rights by their government.
