We worked in Nevada to pass trans nondiscrimination laws!
Pink & Purple Weekend brings the D.C. community together

Our most recent annual report is done! We're glad to have the project finished, but what really makes us glad is looking back at all the great work we did in 2010. We were out in the states and in our nation's capital, building power, taking action and creating change, and we couldn't have done any of it without you. Thanks for making us glad — take a look at the report right here.

Michael Adee is Executive Director of More Light Presbyterians (MLP), the Presbyterian Church's LGBT network, which was a key player in the recent decision by the Presbyterian Church that allows LGBT people to serve as ministers. The Task Force is proud to acknowledge Michael for his role in this incredible victory and for all his advocacy in the faith community. And if all that weren't enough, he's also a donor to the Task Force. When it comes to Michael, what's not to love!

8 Years Ago June 2003
The Task Force celebrated the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark ruling to strike down sodomy laws across the country. In 1986, the Task Force had launched the Privacy Project, the first national education and advocacy campaign to repeal consensual sodomy laws, following the Supreme Court's infamous 1986 Bowers v. Hardwick decision.

June is Pride Month, so join the Task Force as we travel to Pride events all over the country. We'll be spreading pink and purple from Denver, Co. to Baltimore, Md. (site for 2012's Creating Change conference). If you'll be at any of the events we're going to, be sure to stop by — or better yet, volunteer! But even if you won't see us this summer, you can still show your pride. Text PRIDE to 25383 to donate $10 to support the Task Force's work for full LGBT equality!
Traveling? Collect your own miles while helping the Task Force! When making a reservation on AA.com/rainbow or with a travel agent, give them our Business ExtrAA account number, 527583, and earn valuable points for the Task Force. Plus, you'll still earn your own miles.
