Victory: Marriage equality state ban struck down in Florida Keys

WASHINGTON, DC, July 17 —The National Gay and Lesbian Task for is celebrating the decision by a federal judge to strike down Florida¹s same-sex marriage ban as it pertains to the Florida Keys.

"Millions of Floridian same-sex couples will be celebrating this victory today — as well as the thousands of tourists who visit this part of the Sunshine State every year. It will give those same-sex couples in the rest of the state who want to get married real hope that their day will come — sooner rather than later."

— Rea Carey, Executive Director, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
