Another Marriage Victory: Colorado same-sex marriage ban struck down

WASHINGTON, DC, July 11, 2014 —The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force welcomes the decision by a Colorado Judge to strike down the Centennial State's same-sex marriage ban.

"As a Denver native, I am overjoyed at this latest marriage decision. It's wonderful that our 2015 Creating Change conference in the Mile High City, will now take place in a state that has marriage equality. We look forward to marriage licenses being issued as quickly as possible. Again, it seems that we are edging even closer to the day when all same-sex couples in our nation have the option of marriage."

— Rea Carey, Executive Director, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force

SAVE THE DATE: We hope to see you next year at our 27th Creating Change in Denver, Colorado, at the beautiful Sheraton Denver Downtown, February 4–February 8, 2015.
