Organizing & Training

Our Organizing & Training team ("O & T" to our friends) works to build the political power of the LGBT community in real ways, both at the state and local level. We provide practical, usable, in-the-trenches support to win elections, defeat anti-LGBT ballot measures and stop anti-LGBT legislation.

More often than not, our O & T staff is out in the field working side-by-side with local activists, especially in places where our involvement can make the critical difference between winning and losing. We partner with a variety of groups to provide practical in-the-trenches training and support for statewide and local LGBT political organizations, LGBT community centers and allied organizations. We work with them to develop winning campaign strategies; strengthen the capacity of organizations to build larger teams of volunteers and donors and build effective coalitions with other communities and progressive causes.
