Job Description:
Temporary Position, Finance Department
The Task Force has a current requirement for a temporary staff member to support its Finance Department during the spring and summer to prepare for year-end closing and audit. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and is full time. We would like to start a person in the position as soon as possible. The requirement will continue until at least August 15, 2008.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of analyses and schedules of balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Gathering and cataloguing contracts and supporting documents for transactions
- Maintaining a control list of assignments of audit deliverables and tasks for the entire accounting team
- General accounting research
Qualifications:
- One to two years’ experience with computer database applications
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Must have excellent oral and interpersonal skills
- College degree preferred but not required
Compensation: Salary competitive, consummate with experience, full benefits health, dental and vision insurance, annual leave, 403(b) plan with employer contributions.
