Advocates' Council

Support the movement for LGBT equality each month with contributions of $10 or more. An Advocates' Council membership is a great way to have a major impact with a modest monthly donation.

Many Task Force members, recognizing the strength of the attack by anti-LGBT forces, have become Advocates' Council members by making monthly gifts to the Task Force to help sustain our work. These monthly gifts are invaluable as the Task Force struggles to meet the costs of voter-ID work, expanded grassroots mobilization, and alerting all Americans to the growing threats to our equality posed by right-wing extremists in the federal and state governments. As an Advocates' Council member, you will help make sure that no challenge to any of our rights goes unanswered. Your pledge — made in small and affordable installments — means you can easily give more to support vital Task Force programs throughout the year. Gift Memberships

Giving someone a Task Force gift membership provides him or her with the opportunity to make a difference in the nationwide effort to end the discrimination faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.

Gifts in Honor

Many same-sex and straight couples are foregoing the tradition of gift registries by asking their guests to give to the Task Force. This provides the couple with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to educate their friends and family about the Task Force's important work in fighting for equal rights for all gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift.
