The National LGBTQ Task Force is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our Web sites.

Our privacy policy explains the information practices the Task Force uses, with regards to:

HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE THE TASK FORCE?
“Cookies” are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Cookies can make the Web more useful by storing information about your preferences on a particular Web site. Cookies themselves do not personally identify a user, but they can identify a user’s computer.. The data collected from visitors to our site is analyzed in aggregate form to show trends and improve the Web site for future visits. When you sign up or make a donation to the National LGBTQ Task Force, you’ll be asked if you want to receive additional e-mails, action alerts and updates from the Task Force on various. If you prefer to stop receiving these e-mails, you may opt out at any time.

Information on Children: The Task Force does not specifically ask children under 18 for any information and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information about them.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
Our Web site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. Our server and database is located in a locked, secure environment.

UNSUBSCRIBING FROM THE NATIONAL LGBTQ TASK FORCE/CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION
All messages sent by the Task Force action alert and other e-lists include information on how to unsubscribe quickly and easily through an automated system. However, if you wish to unsubscribe or need to process a change to your e-mail address or other information, please send an e-mail to thetaskforce@thetaskforce.org.
