Patrick Paschall is a Senior Policy Counsel at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force where he advances the Task Force's policy priorities in federal administrative agencies and at the White House, and provides technical assistance in policy drafting and analysis to national, state, and local coalition partners on regulatory policy benefiting the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. Patrick is a proud member and Union Delegate for Service Employees International Union, local 1199, and was also elected in 2013 to serve his community as a member of the City Council in Hyattsville, Maryland.

Prior to joining the Task Force, Patrick worked with numerous LGBT rights organizations, including the National Center for Transgender Equality, Lambda Legal, Family Equality Council, and Pride at Work. Patrick received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law where he was awarded a coveted spot in the LGBT Rights Fellowship, the only program in the nation that trains attorneys on LGBT legal and policy matters as a centerpiece of their legal education. Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University in Political Science with a Certificate in European Union Politics and a minor in History, and is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
