David da Silva Cornell

David da Silva Cornell serves as director of development of the Dade Community Foundation in Miami, Florida. An attorney, he practiced corporate and international law for 12 years in South Florida and Washington, DC before joining the Foundation. Over the past decade he has been involved with both LGBT and faith-related organizations and causes, including previous service on the board of the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund and current service on the board of Equality Florida Action PAC. David received his B.A. and two Master of Arts degrees from Yale University and holds a joint J.D./M.S.F.S. degree from Georgetown University Law Center and School of Foreign Service.
