The Task Force Policy Institute released a report that revealed the ex-gay movement's tactic of targeting LGB youth for "conversion-therapy." Youth in the Crosshairs: The Third Wave of Ex-Gay Activism, revealed how groups such as Exodus International and Focus on the Family promote widely discredited theories on the root of homosexuality and recommend "prevention" and conversion therapy treatments despite research that shows these treatments to be ineffective and even harmful.

The Task Force is a longtime supporter of workers' rights, and we joined with other progressive organizations to make sure the folks in Wisconsin knew that millions of people nationwide were standing in solidarity with them. But this isn't just about Wisconsin; politicians in 30-plus states have recently proposed anti-union legislation. We've signed on to a solidarity statement with other LGBT organizations and pledge to fight back. Join us on April 4 for the We Are One events to show solidarity.
