Where we are going from here: A conversation with the Task Force
Task Force department directors held a national audio press conference yesterday where they addressed “Where we are going from here” as part of the passing of the torch from outgoing Executive Director Matt Foreman to incoming Acting Executive Director Rea Carey. Foreman, who served as executive director since 2003, announced in January he was leaving the Task Force on April 15 to lead the Gay & Lesbian Program at the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund in San Francisco.

Rea Carey named acting executive directorRea Carey, who has served as the Task Force’s deputy executive director since 2004, has been named acting executive director effective today. Carey assumes the role while the search for a new executive director is under way.
